To Feel Something At All
Art Direction for KYTES

The Munich-based indie band KYTES is reviving the indie pop of the 2010s with their latest album “To Feel Something At All”. KYTES weaves together a sense of freedom & familiarity into a feel-good sound that exudes genuine lightness. This feeling has been artfully captured in the album artwork with a distinctive visual language. Striking flowers made of balloons symbolize good vibes & are the central element of “To Feel Something At All”. An artificial grass meadow provides a backdrop for band photos, completing the look. The typeface, an overly thick Arial Rounded, subtly reflects the character of the balloons. The centerpiece of the branding is the vinyl album, released in the summer during the festival tour. Tour posters and street posters in German cities garnered attention. The new album also prompted another tour in the fall, for which an extensive merchandise collection was designed.
